It is tied to three things that stay with you after the exam:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Your NIN.<\/strong> JAMB pulls your name, date of birth, gender and state of origin from the NIMC database.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Your phone number.<\/strong> It receives your profile code, your e-PIN and every JAMB message.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Your email address.<\/strong> It becomes your login for the JAMB e-facility portal at <a href=\"https:\/\/efacility.jamb.gov.ng\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">efacility.jamb.gov.ng<\/a>, where you later print your exam slip, check your result, accept admission on CAPS and print your admission letter.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How to Create Your JAMB Profile (Step by Step)<\/h2>\n<h3>1. Check your NIN details first<\/h3>\n<p>Make sure your name, date of birth, gender and state of origin are correct on your NIN record. JAMB copies them from NIMC, so a CBT centre cannot change them for you. If anything is wrong, correct it with NIMC <strong>before<\/strong> you request your profile code. JAMB&#8217;s FAQ also asks candidates to make sure their NIN details tally with their other documents, such as O&#8217;level results.<\/p>\n<h3>2. Use a phone number that is yours alone<\/h3>\n<p>JAMB does not allow two candidates to use the same number. Your SIM stays your identifier for all present and future JAMB services, so do not use a sibling&#8217;s or parent&#8217;s line that JAMB has seen before. If you are using a new or rarely used SIM, ask your network about its <strong>Keep My Number<\/strong> service so the line is not reissued to someone else.<\/p>\n<h3>3. Send your NIN to 55019 or 66019<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Type <strong>NIN<\/strong>, a space, and your 11-digit NIN, for example <code>NIN 12345678901<\/code>.<\/li>\n<li>Send it to <strong>55019<\/strong> or <strong>66019<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The SMS is charged to your airtime, so keep some credit on the line.<\/li>\n<li>JAMB replies with your profile code. Go to an accredited CBT centre, ask for the lost-SIM template (TEMPL 006), and give a new email address that has never been used on any JAMB platform. Once you confirm the new email, the 55019\/66019 services (password reset, RESEND, result, e-PIN) work through your profile, and JAMB messages appear in a Messages menu on your e-facility account.<\/p>\n<h2>Avoid These Profile Scams<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Your profile code comes only from the 55019\/66019 SMS. Nobody can &#8220;create&#8221; it for you for a fee.<\/li>\n<li>Buy your e-PIN only through JAMB&#8217;s approved payment channels, and register only at JAMB-accredited CBT centres.
