The 2027 UTME results are not out yet. JAMB has not announced the 2027 exam dates. When results are released, check yours by sending UTMERESULT by SMS to 55019 or 66019 from the phone number you registered with, or log in at efacility.jamb.gov.ng. The official result slip costs ₦1,000 plus a ₦100 service charge on JAMB’s fee schedule.

Last checked: 11 October 2026.

If you wrote the 2026 UTME, your result is already available and you can print your original result slip now. The steps below work for both years.

JAMB result timeline: what happened in 2026

JAMB has not published a 2027 timetable. Use the 2026 cycle as a guide to how fast things move:

First batch of results (by SMS)

17 April 2026, a day after the first exam day

Expect a similar pattern in 2027, but confirm every date on jamb.gov.ng when JAMB announces it.

How to check your JAMB result by SMS

  1. Use the same SIM you used for your UTME registration. Results from any other number will not come.

  2. Type UTMERESULT (one word, capital letters).

  3. Send it to 55019 or 66019.

  4. JAMB replies with your score in each subject and your total out of 400.

Your network deducts a small SMS charge, so keep some airtime on the line. If the reply says your result is not ready, your batch has not been released yet. Wait and try again later.

How to check and print your result on the JAMB portal

    1. Go to efacility.jamb.gov.ng/login.

    2. Log in with the email address and password you used at registration.

    3. Open the result section and choose to check or print your UTME result.

    4. To print the original result slip, pay ₦1,000 + ₦100 service charge. Card payments may show a small extra gateway fee at checkout.

    5. Enter your exam year and registration number, then download or print the slip.

The original result slip carries your photograph, national ranking and security features. Schools ask for it during post-UTME screening and admission, so print it and keep a soft copy.

Pay only on efacility.jamb.gov.ng. Do not pay any website, agent or “result upgrade” service. JAMB cannot change your score and nobody can do it for you.

      What your score means

The UTME is scored out of 400. For the 2026/2027 session, the national minimum is 150 for universities and 100 for polytechnics. See the full JAMB cut-off mark table. Schools often set a higher cut-off for competitive courses.
