About
The Tongarewa Scholarship celebrates Victoria University of Wellington’s commitment to its international student community. It is available for international students entering their first year of an undergraduate degree or a postgraduate degree programme at the university. Scholarship recipients are expected to act as ambassadors for the university and participate in events or marketing activities as required.
Eligibility
To be eligible, applicants must be:
- International students who are paying full international fees
- applying for scholarship for the trimester they are commencing their studies in (i.e. if you enter your studies in Trimester 1, please use Trimester 1 scholarship application)
- entering their first year of an undergraduate degree or entering a postgraduate degree.
