International Undergraduate Scholarships at the University of Melbourne, Australia

The Melbourne International Undergraduate Scholarship is offered to high-achieving students who are enrolling in a bachelor degree and are citizens of countries where international educational opportunities are limited by financial disadvantage.

This scholarship provides a 25 percent fee sponsorship for the duration of the course.

You are automatically considered for this scholarship if you have applied for admission for commencement in the award year.

Successful candidates will receive a scholarship offer within two weeks of receiving a course offer. Unsuccessful candidates will not be notified.

This scholarship can be deferred to the following calendar year and is subject to the Coursework Scholarship Terms and Conditions.

• Have applied for and meet the entry requirements for an Overseas Fee place in a bachelor degree
• Have completed secondary school outside Australia or a foundation program in Australia
• Not have previously undertaken tertiary studies (excluding extension studies completed as part of a year 12 program)

The scholarship is offered to the student(s) ranked highest based on their final secondary school or
foundation studies results. Minimum scholarship selection scores for common qualifications for students who applied for commencement in 2025 are set out in the table below.

Selection scores are reviewed annually and may vary between years. Scholarship selection is not based on predicted results.
