About
The Commonwealth Shared Scholarships are designed for candidates from least developed and lower-middle-income Commonwealth countries. These scholarships support full-time Master’s study on selected courses and are jointly funded by UK universities. Note: Undergraduate courses, PhD studies, and pre-sessional English teaching are not covered.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be a citizen of, or have refugee status in, an eligible Commonwealth country.
- Be a permanent resident of a developing Commonwealth country.
- Begin academic studies in the UK by September 2025.
- Hold a first degree of at least upper second-class (2:1) or a lower second-class degree with a relevant postgraduate qualification.
- Not have studied or worked for one year or more in a developed country.
- Demonstrate financial need for the scholarship.
- Submit all required supporting documents in the specified format.
