The programme targets mid-level to senior-level professionals who can demonstrate how they will use their studies to drive change in their home countries.<\/p>\n<p>Nigeria is among the 25 eligible African countries. The scholarship covers full tuition, living expenses, and travel \u2014 making it one of the most generous scholarship programmes available to African professionals.<\/p>\n<h2>Scholarship Benefits<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Full tuition fees at an Australian university<\/li>\n<li>Return air travel to Australia<\/li>\n<li>Establishment allowance on arrival<\/li>\n<li>Contribution to living expenses (CLE) for the duration of the course<\/li>\n<li>Introductory academic programme<\/li>\n<li>Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)<\/li>\n<li>Supplementary academic support<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Eligibility Criteria<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Citizen of an eligible African country (including Nigeria)<\/li>\n<li>Minimum age of 25 years as of 1 February 2026<\/li>\n<li>Hold a bachelor&#8217;s degree (must not already hold a master&#8217;s degree)<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 5 years of post-graduate work experience in a relevant field<\/li>\n<li>Currently employed in a relevant field<\/li>\n<li>IELTS score of at least 6.5 overall (no band below 6.0)<\/li>\n<li>Must demonstrate a clear vision for applying scholarship knowledge at home<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How to Apply<\/h2>\n<p>Submit applications online at <a href=\"https:\/\/australiaawardsafrica.org\/awards\/apply\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">australiaawardsafrica.org<\/a>. Two referee reports are required using the official template.
