The following are the Admission Requirements for Uniport through UTME (100 level)

  1. Minimum of Credit passes in Five (5) subjects including English Language at the SSCE, GCE O’Level and any other equivalent examinations at not more than two sittings. 2. UTME score of at least 200 and above for Dentistry, Pharmacy, Engineering (except Civil & Environmental Engineering), Management Sciences, Medicine, Nursing and Social Sciences; 180 and above for others.

  2. Post-UTME screening score of not less than 40% (Subject to Change).

  3. Candidates must make UNIPORT as their 1st and/or Second choice to qualify to write the Post-UTME Screening Test.

  4. Candidates who score less than 40% at the Post-UTME screening test are not eligible for admission into any programme in UNIPORT irrespective of any higher scores obtained at the UTME. UNIPORT

Admission through Direct Entry (200 Level)

  1. Minimum of credit passes in five (5) subjects including English Language at SSCE, GCE
    O’Level or equivalent qualification at not more than two sittings.

  2. Must possess an HND, OND or NCE in the relevant programme to be undertaken in UNIPORT.

  3. An acceptable score is prescribed for admission at the Direct Entry Screening Exercise.

  4. Final selection is a combination of candidate’s certificates and the direct entry screening result.
    Now that you know the UTME Cut-off Mark and the Post-UTME Cut-off Mark for UNIPORT, you should start preparing for it and also inform other people who have made UNIPORT their choice.

Requirements For University Of Port – Harcourt,  UNIPORT Admission in this  Academic Session:

You must meet the following requirements before you are even considered for Admission by the University:

 Admission Requirements for Uniport MBA

The following are the minimum admission requirements for a candidate to be offered a place in the Executive MBA  programme in UNIPORT.
Satisfactory evidence of educational attainment and scholarship as indicated by:
1. A minimum of B.Sc. 2nd class honours degree from the University of Port Harcourt or from any other University recognized by the Senate of the University of Port Harcourt.
2. HND Upper Division from a recognized institution plus a Post Graduate Diploma at a CGPA of 3.5 or more.

Other Admission Requirements

(i) All candidates must have minimum of three years managerial/administrative experience.
(ii) All candidates must have demonstrated adequate intellectual capacity, professionalism, maturity and effective decision – making and problem solving potentials during the university’s admission test and interview.
(iii) Candidates with good quantitative background and some basic knowledge of Economics will have added advantage.
(iv) Holders of HND and/or professional qualification in administration disciplines are eligible for admission but must go through a mandatory post-graduate diploma.
