The management of the University of Uyo wishes to inform members of the University community, invited guests and general public that the 57th Inaugural Lecture of the institution has been postponed.
The Lecture titled “Geophysics: The Anomalous Science for Better Living,” which was to be delivered on Thursday, August 31, 2017 by Prof. Idara Okon Akpabio, Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, University of Uyo has been postponed until further notice. This is due to the ongoing national industrial action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).
The management of the University of Uyo deeply regrets any inconveniences caused by the postponement of the 57th Inaugural Lecture.
A new date will be announced in due course.
