The FEDERAL SCHOLARSHIP BOARD AWARD (FSBN) is an exclusive scholarship program designed specifically for Nigerian students enrolled in Federal Universities, State Universities, colleges, or polytechnics. This prestigious scholarship opportunity is available annually.

Requirements for the Federal Scholarship Board Award
- Candidates applying for postgraduate studies should possess a minimum of a first degree with Second Class Honours Upper Division. Additionally, applicants must be registered as full-time students at Federal or State Universities.
- For all other applicants, including those pursuing undergraduate (UG), Higher National Diploma (HND), and National Certificate of Education (NCE) programs, they must be registered as full-time students in their second year or above at Federal or State Universities, Polytechnics, Monotechnics, or Colleges of Education.
- All undergraduate scholarship applicants, including those with physical challenges, must have a Cumulative Grade Points Aggregate (CGPA) of at least 4.0 on a five-point scale or its equivalent, or 5.0 on a seven-point scale.
- As for NCE and HND applicants, they must have a CGPA of 3.5 and above on a scale of 4.0.

How To Apply For Federal Scholarship Board Award
To apply for the Federal Government Tertiary Institution Scholarship, please follow these steps:
- Visit the Federal Ministry of Education’s website, www.education.gov.ng and click on Federal Scholarship Board ICON on the Home Page:
- Read the Guidelines and then Complete the Application Form online
- Print the Examination slip.
Note: Double Entries will be disqualified!
Attach the following documents
- Letter of Admission to the Institution Current
- School’s Identity Card
- CGPA results.

How to Check FSBN Exam Date
- Open your internet browser on your phone or computer. n
- Visit the Federal Government Scholarship Board exam portal
- Go to https://fsbn.com.ng/applicants/cbt on your internet browser
- Enter your phone number or the last 6 digits of your applicant number
- For example, 090274119000 or FSB/NA/2023/000000.
- Click on the CHECK button to view your exam date
- Click on the Print button to get your examination slip.

How to Check FSBN Scholarship Results
The FSBN scholarship exam results are not available for public online access; therefore, it is not possible to check them through any online platform.
You will receive an email or text message from the Federal Ministry of Education if you get shortlisted for the scholarship.
Once you receive the message, you will need to proceed with the verification exercise. After completing the verification process, you will be eligible to receive the scholarship award of two hundred and fifty thousand Naira (₦250,000).
