The founding Vice Chancellor of Griffith University, Professor John Willett (1922 – 1993) is honoured by a lot of people across Australia as an academic and organisation builder of creativity, results and goal. In memory of Professor Willett’s legacy in management education, especially in far east, a scholarship was set up to offer scholarship for students from eligible countries in Asia within the Griffith Business School.

Scholarship Eligibility
Eligibility:
- Be a citizen of a country besides Australia or New Zealand. Eligible countries: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, People’s Republic of China, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand or Vietnam.
- Have at least GPA in previous studies of 4.0 or above on a 7-point scale or equivalent.
- Have submitted application to pursue the Master of Global Development at Griffith by the scholarship application closing date.
