About
The Lund University Global Scholarship Programme is a selective, merit-based scholarship for outstanding academic students from outside the EU/EEA (and Switzerland) who wish to apply for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programme at Lund University.
Eligibility
To qualify for the Lund University Global Scholarship, you must meet all of the following:
- Be a citizen of a country outside the EU/EEA (and Switzerland) and be required to pay a tuition fee.
- Apply during the regular application round for Master’s level studies or eligible Bachelor’s programmes at Lund University.
- Ensure the Lund University programme you are applying for is your first choice on the national application portal (universityadmissions.se).
Do not apply if:
- You do not meet the admission requirements for Lund University.
- You have not selected a Lund University programme as your first choice at universityadmissions.se.
- You cannot secure sufficient funding for living costs as required by the Swedish Migration Board.

- Apply for the desired programme(s) or course(s) at Lund University through the national application portal: universityadmissions.se.
- Application period: 15 October 2024 – 15 January 2025 (some programmes open on 1 December).
- Pay the application fee to complete your application.
- Apply for the scholarship through the scholarship application portal, which will be accessible via the official website when the application period opens in February 2025.
