National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) is a Federal university located in Victoria Island, Lagos, established in 2002. It offers the 4 programmes listed below. The JAMB national minimum for the 2026/2027 session is 150 — the college's own entrance exam and departmental cut-offs may be higher, so confirm with the school.

"⚠ NOUN is a genuine, well-established federal open university, but its JAMB-free, open-admission model is heavily targeted by fake "agents" and look-alike sites promising guaranteed admission or paid "fast-track" slots — never pay anyone outside the official Remita/RRR flow on the portal. Note also: the main nou.edu.ng site has genuine NOUN content but its footer has been found carrying injected gambling/betting spam links, so treat any link, ad, or popup on that domain with caution and never enter payment details through it — use support.nou.edu.ng for help instead. Unofficial blogs (e.g. nounng.com, nounloaded.com.ng, nounupdate.com, nounforum.com, androidpols.com.ng) may carry general info but should never be used for payments or portal logins — always confirm against NOUN's own systems.

NOUN JAMB Cut-off Mark (2026/2027)

The JAMB national minimum for the 2026/2027 session is 150. This is the lowest score to be considered; the college also runs its own entrance examination, and departments frequently set higher cut-offs, so always confirm the current mark for your course with the school.

How to Apply

{"apply_html":"

Apply only through NOUN's own admission system (NOUN does not use JAMB UTME for undergraduate entry). Visit support.nou.edu.ng or search "NOUN Apply for Admission" to reach the official application portal, choose Undergraduate or Postgraduate, select your faculty and pick a study centre near you, complete the form to get a unique application ID, then pay the application fee via Remita (select "Bank Branch" as payment type to generate an RRR). Return to the portal with your ID and RRR, complete and submit the form, print your admission letter, then report to your chosen study centre for screening.

Stay safe: never pay any "agent" or individual claiming to guarantee you admission or a JAMB-free "fast-track" slot — pay only through the official Remita/RRR flow on the portal.
