Courses Offered at Prince Abubakar Audu University
Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU) is a State university located in Anyigba, Kogi, established in 2002. It offers the 55 programmes listed below. The JAMB national minimum for the 2026/2027 session is 150 — the college's own entrance exam and departmental cut-offs may be higher, so confirm with the school.
⚠ PAAU is a genuine, NUC-recognised Kogi State university (formerly Kogi State University, renamed 2020), but its admission searches attract fake "admission agents" and look-alike portals promising guaranteed spots for a fee. The only official web addresses are paau.edu.ng and the screening portal portal.paau.edu.ng, and the screening fee is a fixed, published ₦2,000 paid only on the portal. Never pay anyone claiming to "secure" or "fast-track" your admission, and never submit your JAMB details or money outside these two domains.

Entry Requirements
You need five (5) O'level credit passes including English Language and Mathematics (plus subjects relevant to your chosen course), uploaded to your JAMB CAPS profile. Sit JAMB UTME and make Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU) your first choice — screening is only open to candidates who selected PAAU on JAMB. UTME cut-off marks are programme-specific: 150 for most Arts, Science, Education and Agric-related programmes, 160 for Accounting/Banking & Finance/Public Administration, 170 for Business Administration and Mass Communication, 180 for Computer Science and Medical Laboratory Science, and 200 for Law, Medicine & Surgery and Nursing Science (officially published by the school — departmental requirements can still change, so confirm your exact course cut-off on the screening portal). Direct Entry candidates are also accepted, subject to programme requirements.
PAAU JAMB Cut-off Mark (2026/2027)
The JAMB national minimum for the 2026/2027 session is 150. This is the lowest score to be considered; the college also runs its own entrance examination, and departments frequently set higher cut-offs, so always confirm the current mark for your course with the school.
How to Apply
1) On JAMB CAPS, select Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU) as your first choice. 2) Once admission processes open, register for Post-UTME/Direct Entry screening on the official portal, portal.paau.edu.ng. 3) Upload your O'level result(s) and pay the official screening fee (₦2,000, as published on the portal) — for the 2026/2027 session, screening registration ran 1 June – 15 July 2026; future-session dates are announced on the same portal, so confirm the current window before applying.
Stay safe: pay the screening fee only through portal.paau.edu.ng — never pay an agent or any third-party site claiming to secure or fast-track your admission.
