About
The QUTPRA is a scholarship that QUT grants to students of excellent research potential taking a Higher Degree by Research (HDR) at the university.
The QUTPRA scholarship includes a compensation package to help with overall living costs and either a fee reduction or a tuition fee sponsorship to fund the tuition fees expenses.
Eligibility
During the process of application, all applicants have to:
- align with QUT’s admission requirements for the research degree to which the applicant has submitted an application for. This includes English language eligibility.
- not be a recipient of another living allowance scholarship to get the research degree.
Applicants will NOT be eligible if they:
- Are presently enrolled in a QUT Research Doctorate and have finalized one year or more of full-time equivalent HDR candidature
- Are presently enrolled in a QUT Research Masters and have already finalized six months or more of full-time equivalent HDR candidature
- have a research qualification from QUT with the same status as an Australian Research Doctorate degree or, if vying for a Research Masters degree, hold a research qualification regarded by QUT to be equivalent to or higher than an Australian Research Masters
- Received a primary scholarship stipend or tuition fee scholarship from any body, including QUT, or under another scholarship scheme to fund their candidature in a research degree at QUT.
