About
The University of Twente Scholarships (UTS) are offered to outstanding students from both EU/EEA and non-EU/EEA countries applying for a Master’s (MSc) program at the University of Twente in the Netherlands. The application process has two rounds: Round 1 opens on October 15, 2024, and closes on February 1, 2025, while Round 2 opens on February 1, 2025, and closes on May 1, 2025. The course is set to begin in September 2025.
Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Apply for a Master’s programme and receive a (provisional) admission letter.
- Possess a valid student number.
- Not have graduated from a University of Twente graduate programme.
- Meet visa requirements for studying in the Netherlands (if applicable).
- Meet English language requirements: Academic IELTS 6.5 (or TOEFL iBT 90) with at least 6.0 (or TOEFL iBT 20) in speaking.
- Be ineligible for a Dutch study loan.
- Demonstrate academic excellence, typically ranking in the top 5–10% of their class.
Application Instructions
First, apply for a Master’s programme at the University of Twente and obtain a student number.
Once you receive a (conditional) admission letter, apply for the UTS scholarship using your student number.
Application deadlines:
- Round 1: Opens October 15, 2024, closes February 1, 2025.
- Round 2: Opens February 1, 2025, closes May 1, 2025.
