Quick answer: The Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board (DSBSB) pays a yearly bursary to Delta State indigenes studying full-time in approved tertiary institutions. The official portal states that registration for the 2026 round has ended. Registration reopens each year at dsbsb.dl.gov.ng.
The only official charge is the ₦800 non-refundable processing fee paid on the portal. Anyone asking for more is not the Board.
Eligibility
- Of Delta State origin, with a valid National Identification Number (NIN).
- Registered full-time student in an approved tertiary institution.
- Minimum CGPA of 2.20.
- Level: university 200 level and above; polytechnic/monotechnic ND II or HND II; college of education NCE II or III.
- Postgraduate students (PGD, Master’s, PhD) are not eligible.
