About
These scholarships will provide you with a living stipend to cover your expenses as you finalise a research project for your Doctor of Philosophy, Master of Philosophy or a research-focused professional doctorate at UQ.
Eligibility
Eligibility includes:
- Pre-selection of candidates by enrolling in a school or institute at UQ
- Evaluation of application by the Graduate School and confirmation as fulfilling the criteria for admission to the higher degree by research program.
- Not get another living allowance award or scholarship as long as it has a benefit higher than 75% of the RTP Scholarship living allowance rate to undertake a higher degree by research program

International applicants: the current round closes Monday 19 October 2026 (for Research Quarter 4 2027 or early 2028 commencement). Domestic rounds close 31 August 2026 and 22 March 2027.
