About
The Sydney International Student Awards can now be accessed by international students from specific countries to reward the excellence of students and their value to the reputation of the university. The award is available to all freshmen students from eligible countries registered full-time in an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree.
Eligibility
- Be an international student as specified in the Higher Education Support Act 2003. Australian citizens and permanent residents are ineligible.
Be a citizen of the under-listed eligible countries. We will need to see evidence of residency documentation. Countries within Africa, South & Central America, Central Asia (Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, etc.), Eastern Europe, as well as Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey and Vietnam. - Receive an admission offer for a new undergraduate coursework or postgraduate coursework degree at the University of Sydney during the application submission period for the award.
- Students starting a second degree at the University of Sydney are eligible to apply.
