The University of Sydney International Scholarship, sponsored and financed by the University of Sydney, offers an annual scholarship to exceptional international postgraduate students pursuing a master’s by research or PhD.

The scholarship provides support for tuition fees and living expenses.

Note:

Commencing students must select the checkbox to be considered for research scholarships while filling out the admission application for their postgraduate research degree. A separate application is not required. Applications are open year-round, with deadlines available on this website.

Eligibility

To be considered for the University of Sydney international scholarship, you must:

• Be a commencing or enrolled international student.
• Possess an exceptional record of academic excellence or achievement and research capability.
• Possess an unconditional admission offer or be presently enrolled in a master’s by research or PhD program at the University of Sydney.
