NAUB IJMB, Diploma Admission Form 2026/2027 Now Available

The Nigerian Army University Biu (NAUB) has commenced the sale of admission forms for its Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) and Diploma programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The admission exercise is being conducted by the university’s Directorate of Basic and Pre-Degree Programmes (DBPP), which coordinates the institution’s foundational and professional academic programmes. NAUB’s official website currently lists the 2026/2027 IJMB and Diploma application among its admission opportunities.

Interested and qualified candidates are encouraged to apply through the designated application portal and ensure that all information supplied during the application process is accurate.

NAUB IJMB and Diploma Programmes

The IJMB programme is a one-year advanced-level programme designed to provide candidates with an alternative pathway to university admission through Direct Entry. Successful candidates may use their IJMB qualification to seek admission into 200-level degree programmes, subject to the requirements of the institution and programme they are applying to. NAUB says its IJMB centre is affiliated with the IJMB Headquarters at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

The university is also offering two-year Diploma programmes in the following areas:

  • Diploma in Criminology and Security Studies
  • Diploma in Local Government Studies
  • Diploma in Public Administration
  •  Diploma in Accounting
  • Diploma in Arabic and Islamic Studies
  • Diploma in Computer Science

According to NAUB, the Diploma programmes were introduced under the expanded mandate of the Directorate of Basic and Pre-Degree Programmes following approval by the University Senate. They are designed to provide specialised academic and professional training, support skills development and create opportunities for further education.

NAUB Admission Requirements

Interested applicants are required to possess a minimum of five O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, as well as relevant subjects required for their chosen programme.

The required O’Level credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings, according to the admission information provided by the Directorate.

Candidates are advised to confirm the specific subject requirements applicable to their chosen programme before completing their applications.

How to Apply for NAUB IJMB and Diploma Programmes

Interested candidates are required to complete their applications online through the NAUB Directorate of Basic and Pre-Degree Programmes portal.

Applicants should visit https://dbpp.naub.edu.ng/ or access the application through the admission information provided by the university.

Candidates should then complete the online application form with their correct personal and academic information and pay the prescribed ₦10,000 non-refundable application fee.

Applicants are advised to carefully review the information supplied before submitting the form, as errors in personal or academic details may affect the processing of their applications.
