In an undeniable move to bolster educational funding, a disbursement of ₦4,448,200.00 has been made to 70 beneficiaries at the College of Agriculture, Science and Technology, Lafia (COAST Lafia). The funding, serving as the first batch of student loans for the 2024/2025 academic session, reflects NELFUND commitment to supporting access to higher education and financial empowerment of students.
The Registrar of the college, Mallam Umar Tijani, acknowledged receipt of the funds on behalf of the institution, extending heartfelt season’s greetings from himself and the college community. Delivering the formal acknowledgment on July 24, 2025, he stated:
“I write to acknowledge receipt of the sum of 4,448,200 naira. Being the first batch of loan disbursement for 70 students of the College of Agricultural Science and Technology Lafia on the 24th of July, 2025, for the 2024/2025 academic session, please accept the assurance of the rector’s highest regards to you.”
In addition to expressing thanks, Mallam Tijani conveyed compliments of the season and emphasized the college’s appreciation of the support to its student body .
