About
The Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program allows U.S. undergraduate students with monetary needs to study or intern out the country, offering them with education important to U.S. national security and economic stability. They will gain insight in a variety of languages and cultures, skills which are particularly essential to their academic and career development.
Eligibility
- A citizen of the United States;
- A high-achieving undergraduate student at an accredited in the United States (including both 2-year and 4-year institutions);
- A recipient of a Federal Pell Grant during the application or show evidence that they will be getting a Pell Grant at the term of their study abroad program or internship;
- In the process of submitting application to, or accepted to, a credit-bearing study abroad or internship program. Evidence of program acceptance is needed before award disbursement;
