The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has announced the timetable for its 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise, with candidates scheduled to sit for the screening between Thursday, August 13, and Saturday, August 15, 2026.
The university made the announcement in a statement issued on Friday by its Director of Corporate Affairs, Mr. Kunle Akogun, urging prospective students to adhere strictly to the admission timetable.
The latest update comes as the institution enters the final phase of its admission screening process, with candidates expected to print their examination slips and prepare for the computer-based screening.
Examination Slip Printing Begins August 10
According to the statement, the University’s Admissions Officer, Mr. AbdulKareem Kunle Sanni, said candidates who have successfully completed their Post-UTME or Direct Entry screening registration should begin printing their examination slips from Monday, August 10, 2026.
The examination slip will indicate each candidate’s screening date, venue, and time, making it an essential document for participation in the exercise.
Sanni advised applicants to print their slips immediately once they become available to confirm their schedules and avoid last-minute issues.
He said, “Candidates who have completed their screening application should begin printing their scheduled examination slips from Monday, August 10, 2026”
Registration Portal Closes August 9
UNILORIN also reminded candidates that registration for the 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise will officially close on Sunday, August 9, 2026.
Prospective applicants who are yet to complete their registration have been urged to do so before the deadline, as the university is not expected to extend the exercise.
Candidates are also advised to ensure that their O’Level results have been uploaded to the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS), as this remains a key requirement for admission processing.
