The University of Uyo (UNIUYO) has launched a far-reaching recruitment exercise, inviting applications from qualified Nigerians to fill more than thirty academic and non-teaching positions.

Okorie, and published in The Pioneer newspaper on Monday, marks one of the most comprehensive workforce expansions in the university’s recent history. Strong Focus on Health Sciences Faculty

A major thrust of the recruitment is directed toward the Faculty of Health Sciences, where the university seeks to engage seasoned professionals and early-career scholars in the following departments:

  • Physiotherapy
  • Human Nutrition and Dietetics
  • Radiography and Radiation Science
  • Dentistry

Application Procedure

Applicants are required to submit twenty-five (25) copies of their application letter and detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV), including personal information, qualifications, employment history, and photocopies of relevant credentials.

Submission Details

Address: The Registrar, University of Uyo, P.M.B. 1017, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

Envelope Label: The position applied for should be clearly written on the top left corner of the envelope.

Referee Reports: Three referees are to send confidential reports directly to the Registrar.

Deadline: Applications must reach the university within six (6) weeks from the date of publication (October 27–28, 2025).

Eligibility: Open to Nigerian citizens between 18 and 50 years of age.
