OOU Announces 2026/2027 Post-UTME Screening Dates, Exam Pass Printing Begins August 3

The management of Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, has fixed Tuesday, August 18 to Friday, August 21, 2026, for its 2026/2027 Post-UTME screening exercise, while directing eligible candidates to begin printing their examination passes from Monday, August 3, 2026.

The university also reminded applicants that uploading and verifying their O’Level results on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admissions Processing System (JAMB CAPS) remains a compulsory requirement for participation in the admission process.

The directive was contained in an official notice signed by the University’s Registrar, Dr. Bayo Orukotan, and released on Tuesday, July 28, 2026.

OOU Fixes August 18–21 for Post-UTME Screening

According to the university, the screening exercise will hold over four days, from Tuesday, August 18, to Friday, August 21, 2026. Candidates who have successfully completed their Post-UTME registration and uploaded their O’Level results on JAMB CAPS will be able to print their examination passes from Monday, August 3, 2026.

The examination pass will contain each candidate’s screening date, venue and other important instructions required for the exercise. Applicants are advised to print the slip early and carefully confirm all the details before their scheduled examination date.

O’Level Upload on JAMB CAPS Is Mandatory

The university stressed that applicants who are yet to upload their O’Level results on JAMB CAPS should visit the nearest accredited JAMB CBT centre and complete the process without delay.

Candidates were also urged to verify the accuracy of the uploaded results to avoid verification issues that could affect their admission.

According to the notice, only applicants whose O’Level details have been properly uploaded and whose applications have been completed will be eligible to print their examination passes.

The institution warned that failure to upload or correctly verify O’Level results on JAMB CAPS may delay admission processing, irrespective of a candidate’s performance in the screening exercise.

What Applicants Should Do

To ensure a smooth screening process, OOU advised candidates to:

  1. Print their examination pass from Monday, August 3, 2026, once eligible.
  2. Confirm that their O’Level results have been successfully uploaded on JAMB CAPS.
  3. Verify that all uploaded O’Level details are accurate.
  4. Check their examination date, venue and other instructions on the examination pass.
  5. Arrive at the screening venue early and comply with all examination guidelines.

The university urged all applicants to adhere strictly to the instructions to avoid any hitch during the 2026/2027 admission screening exercise.

Candidates are also encouraged to monitor the university’s admission portal and JAMB CAPS for further updates as the admission process progresses.
