Some of the institutions currently accepting applications include: IMSU, RSU, OAU, KASU, and Federal Polytechnic Offa – All actively processing forms.

Beware of unofficial or third-party sites, which often publish outdated or false information. For authentic and confirmed information you can rely on this site.  Also rely on verified institutional portals and the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) for updates.

2. Know the Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must:

• Have chosen the institution as first choice in the 2025 UTME. For most Federal Universities it must be first candidates.  
• Attain the required cut-off mark (ranging from 140 to 200, depending on the school and course). 
• Possess a minimum of five (5) O’Level credits, including English and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings. 
• Be able to present a valid JAMB result slip, O’Level result(s) (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB), and other credentials as specified.

Each institution has its unique screening format:

• Computer-Based Tests (CBT): Many federal universities (e.g., UNN, OAU, UNILAG) conduct CBT exams.

As of this publication, UNILAG’s deadline is August 20, UNILORIN’s is August 10, while others like OAU and UNN are closing by mid-August (see the table above for some confirmed deadlines). Candidates who have not registered are advised to do so immediately.
