The university’s Senate made the decision at its 43rd statutory meeting on January 7, 2026. Subsequently, academic and disciplinary committees presented comprehensive reports. These reports outlined various examination infractions committed by the affected students.
The university announced the expulsion in its official Weekly Bulletin published on Friday. Management confirmed that all students were found guilty of violating examination rules. “After reviewing the cases, the Senate approved the expulsion of the students in accordance with the university’s examination regulations,” the statement read.

Zero-Tolerance Policy Reinforced

Notably, this is not BUK’s first major disciplinary action against examination misconduct. Previously, in April 2025, the university expelled 62 students. Additionally, 17 others were rusticated over similar violations.
