FUAMB Opens 2026/2027 Post-UTME, Direct Entry Admission; 150 UTME Score Required

The Federal University of Agriculture, Mubi (FUAMB), Adamawa State, has commenced applications for its 2026/2027 Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) admission exercise, inviting suitably qualified candidates to apply for available undergraduate programmes.

The university said candidates who scored at least 150 in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and meet the prescribed O’Level requirements are eligible to participate in the admission exercise.

FUAMB, one of Nigeria’s newer specialised federal universities, was established to advance teaching, research and innovation in agriculture while integrating emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, digital solutions and sustainable farming into higher education.

Eligibility Requirements

According to the admission guidelines, applicants must:

  • Have sat for the 2026 UTME.
  • Obtain a minimum UTME score of 150.
  • Possess at least five O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in relevant subjects.
  • Present results from WAEC, NECO or NABTEB, or combine results from not more than two approved examination bodies.
  • Direct Entry applicants must possess qualifications acceptable under the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) admission guidelines.

Candidates who did not initially choose FUAMB as their first-choice institution are required to effect a Change of Institution through JAMB before completing their application.
