Governor Sanwo-Olu Approves Exercise
The Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB) has announced the official opening of its recruitment portal for teaching positions across the state, following approval by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
“With the kind approval of Mr. Governor, the Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB) hereby announces the opening of its official application portal for interested and qualified individuals who are willing and ready to contribute to the delivery of quality education in Lagos State,” the Board stated.
Who Can Apply
Applications are open strictly online via https://subebjobs.lagosstate.gov.ng. Physical submissions will not be entertained.
Eligible qualifications include:
- NCE
- B.A (Ed), B.Sc (Ed), or B.Ed
- HND + PGDE
- B.A + PGDE
- B.Sc + PGDE
- M.Ed / M.Sc (Ed)
Required documents:
- O’Level certificate (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB)
- Degree or NCE certificate
- NYSC discharge or exemption certificate (where applicable)
Note: Result notifications issued beyond two years will not be accepted.
Available Position & Deadline
Currently, the advertised vacancy is for Classroom Teachers. The portal will remain open until 14 October 2025, with applications closing on 13 October.
LASUBEB stressed that the exercise is free of charge and warned applicants against falling prey to fraudulent agents.
Steps to Apply
LASUBEB outlined the application procedure as follows:
1. Register or log in to the portal.
2. Check for job openings.
3. Fill all required forms.
4. Choose your subject of choice.
5. Click the “Apply” button.
6. Print the confirmation slip.
