ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

To be eligible for LASU Post UTME screening for the 2025/2026 academic session, candidates must meet the following requirements:

1. JAMB Score Requirement

Candidate must have scored a minimum of 195 marks in the 2025Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations. The cut-off mark for the LASU screening for all courses in the 2025/2026 admission cycle is set at a minimum of 195.

2. Choice of Institution

Candidates should have made LASU their first choice. Only first-choice candidates are eligible for the Post UTME.

3. O’Level Requirements

  • Candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) credits in relevant O’Level subjects including English Language and Mathematics.
  • Results from WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or their equivalents are acceptable.
  • The O’Level results must not be more than five (5) years old.

4. Subject Combination

  • Candidates must have the correct JAMB subject combination for their chosen course.
  • O’Level subject requirements must align with the chosen programme

5. Age Requirement

Candidates must be at least 16 years old at the time of admission.

6. Candidates of Lagos State Origin MUST have proved their claims before the Independent Indigeneship Verification Committee (IIVC) set up by the Lagos State University, as their claim will be automatically validated before they can proceed with the Online Screening.

Note that any examination taken after July 2025 is not ACCEPTABLE.

HOW TO APPLY FOR LASU POST UTME 2025/2026

Follow these step-by-step instructions to complete your LASU Post UTME application:

Step 1: Visit the Official Portal

Visit the official LASU admission portal for 2024 at www.lasu.edu.ng. Navigate to the LASU e-portal at www.lasu.edu.ng/eportal

Step 2: Registration Process

Click on the 2024 Post UTME registration link. Provide the necessary information and establish a personal profile.

Step 3: Complete Application Form

1. Fill in your personal details accurately

2. Provide your JAMB registration number

3. Enter your O’Level examination details

4. Select your preferred course of study

5. Upload required documents (passport photograph, JAMB result slip, O’Level certificates)

Step 4: Payment

1. Generate your payment invoice

2. Pay the application fee of N2,000 using Remita payment platform

3. Print your payment receipt

After successful payment, print your completed application form for your records.

Step 6: Submit Supporting Documents

Candidates will also be required to submit hard copies of their credentials to the Admissions office. Required documents include:

– JAMB result, O-level results, and passport photographs.

– Birth certificate or age declaration.

– Local Government of Origin certificate.

– The application process will last for 27 days. That is, Monday 30th June – Saturday, 26th July, 2025/ (12 midnight).
