Sa’adu Zungur University Releases Third Batch Admission List for 2026/2027 Session

The management of Sa’adu Zungur University, Gadau (SAZUG), Bauchi State, has released the Third Batch Admission List for candidates offered provisional admission into its undergraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Candidates whose names appear on the newly released list are advised to proceed with the required admission formalities and participate in the university’s scheduled physical screening exercise within the stipulated period.

Physical Screening Schedule

The physical screening exercise for newly admitted candidates is scheduled to commence on Monday, September 28, 2026, and end on Friday, October 9, 2026.

All admitted candidates are expected to report to the respective campuses where their programmes are domiciled for the screening exercise.

How to Check the Admission List

Candidates can check their admission status through the admission lists released by the university, including:

1. Third Batch Admission List
2. Second Batch Admission List
3.  Merit Admission List

Candidates whose names appear on the Third Batch Admission List are advised to begin their admission formalities promptly and ensure they complete the screening exercise before the deadline.

Requirements for Physical Screening

Candidates shortlisted for the screening exercise are required to present the originals and photocopies of the following documents:

•  Computer printout of SSCE (O’Level) result
•  JAMB Result Slip
• Online Screening Form
• One recent passport photograph
•  Scratch card for verification of O’Level result

Candidates are advised to ensure that all required documents are complete and properly arranged before reporting for the exercise.

Upload O’Level Result on JAMB CAPS

The university has also directed admitted candidates to upload their O’Level results on the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) through any accredited JAMB CBT centre before attending the physical screening.

Candidates who fail to upload their required O’Level results on JAMB CAPS may experience delays or difficulties in processing their admission.

Accept Admission on JAMB CAPS

After completing the physical screening, candidates are advised to revisit the JAMB portal two to three days later to accept their admission offers and print their JAMB Admission Letters.

According to the university, only candidates who accept their admission offers on JAMB CAPS will be able to access and complete the remaining admission processes on the Sa’adu Zungur University admission portal.

Deadline for Screening

All admitted candidates are strongly advised to complete the physical screening within the approved period.

Candidates who fail to complete the exercise by Friday, October 9, 2026, may risk forfeiting their admission.
