The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has extended the deadline for the 2025/2026 Post-UTME registration exercise, giving prospective candidates three additional days to complete their applications.
According to an official notice released by the institution on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, the registration portal, which was originally scheduled to close the same day, will now remain open until Saturday, August 23, 2025.
“The extension is to allow more candidates the opportunity to complete their registration. No further grace will be granted after the new deadline,” the statement read.
Key Information for Candidates
1. Registration Period: July 28 – August 23, 2025.
2. Eligibility: Candidates who made UNILAG their first choice in the 2025 UTME, scored 200 and above, and obtained at least five credit passes in one sitting (including English Language and Mathematics).
3. Age Requirement: Applicants must be 16 years or older by September 30, 2025.
4. Fees: ₦5,500 (₦2,000 application fee + ₦3,500 administrative charge).
Screening & Examination Schedule
- Mock Exam: August 25 – 27, 2025.
- Main Online Aptitude Test: September 1 – 5, 2025.
- Deadline for O’Level Upload on JAMB CAPS: September 12, 2025
The university urged all eligible applicants to take advantage of the extension and finalize their registration promptly to avoid last-minute technical issues.
