
The Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH), Zaria, has announced the schedule for its 2026/2027 National Diploma (ND) Nursing Post-UTME screening exercise.
The screening will be conducted through a Computer-Based Test (CBT) and is compulsory for all eligible candidates who previously applied through the ABUTH admission portal. Candidates who fail to participate in the exercise will not be considered for admission into the College of Nursing Sciences.

According to the admission notice, the Post-UTME screening exercise will take place on Saturday, 25 July 2026, beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the CBT Centre opposite the Gymnasium, Ahmadu Bello University Main Campus, Zaria.
Candidates are advised to arrive early with all the required documents to avoid delays during accreditation.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the screening exercise, applicants must:
- Sit for the 2026 UTME.
- Score 150 or above in the examination.
- Choose ABUTH College of Nursing Sciences as their first-choice institution.
- Complete the admission application through the ABUTH portal.
O’Level Requirements
In addition to the UTME requirement, candidates must possess at least five credit passes in not more than two sittings.
The compulsory subjects are:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics
Applicants who do not have credit passes in all five subjects will not be eligible for admission into the ND Nursing programme.
Age Requirement
Applicants must be at least 16 years old on or before 30 October 2026.
Candidates should confirm that they meet this requirement before attending the screening exercise to avoid possible disqualification during admission processing.
ABUTH CBT Registration Fee
ABUTH has fixed the CBT registration fee at ₦2,500 only. However, candidates should note that this amount excludes:
- Remita processing charges
- NIP transfer charges
- Bank charges
- Other applicable transaction fees
How to Pay the CBT Fee
Candidates should make payment through the Remita platform by following these steps:
1. Select Pay TSA.
2. Choose FGN – Federal Government of Nigeria.
3. Select Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital as the payee.
4. Under Name of Service/Purpose of Payment, choose Student Service Charge.
5. Enter ₦2,500 as the payment amount.
6. Fill in the required candidate details.
7. Complete the transaction and print the Remita Retrieval Receipt.
The payment receipt must be presented during the screening exercise.
Documents Required
Candidates are expected to come to the CBT venue with:
- Original JAMB Result Slip
- Valid means of identification
- Remita Retrieval Receipt
Failure to present these documents may prevent participation in the screening exercise.
Important Notice
Meanwhile, ABUTH has emphasised that attendance at the CBT screening is mandatory.
Candidates who fail to participate in the screening exercise will not be considered for admission into the ND Nursing programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.
