The Federal University Dutse (FUDutse) has commenced the sale of its Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) screening forms for the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to the institution’s management, the online registration portal opened on Monday, August 25, 2025, and will close on Monday, September 15, 2025. The screening fee is fixed at ₦2,000 only.
Eligibility Requirements
- UTME candidates: Must have scored a minimum of 150 in the 2025 JAMB UTME and selected FUDutse as their first choice.
- Direct Entry candidates: Must have at least 7 points in IJMB/NCE or Lower Credit in ND.
- All applicants must possess five (5) O’Level credits including English Language and Mathematics in not more than two sittings.
Step-by-Step Application Procedure
1. Visit the Official Portal
- Go to https://putme.fud.edu.ng.
- Click on “Register/Login” to begin.
2. Login Credentials
- Use your UTME/DE registration number as your username.
- Enter your State of Origin as the password.
3. Update Your Profile
- Carefully fill in your personal details, including date of birth, phone number, email address, contact address, and local government area.
- Confirm that all details match the information on your JAMB profile.
4. Generate Remita Payment
- Click on “Generate Invoice” to obtain your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR).
- Choose your preferred payment method:
- Online Payment: Use your debit/ATM card directly on the Remita platform.
- Bank Payment: Print the invoice and pay at any participating commercial bank nationwide.
5. Confirm Payment
- After payment, return to the portal and click “Confirm Payment” to validate your transaction.
- Once payment is confirmed, you can proceed with the next steps.
6. Upload Documents
Upload the following, ensure that the documents are properly scanned;
- Recent passport photograph (JPEG format, not more than 50kb).
- O’Level result(s) (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) or A’Level/ND/NCE results (for DE applicants).
7. Review and Submit
- Cross-check all your details and uploaded documents carefully.
- Click “Submit Application” to finalize your registration.
8. Print Acknowledgment Slip
After submission, print out the Acknowledgment Slip and Payment Receipt for your records. These will be required during the physical screening and admission process.
Important Notes
Make sure your O’Level results are also uploaded on the JAMB CAPS portal. Because failure to do so will disqualify you from admission consideration.
The university warns applicants to avoid dealing with unauthorized persons or websites and to strictly use the official portal.
The registration closes on September 15, 2025, and late applications will not be entertained.
