The management of Kano State College of Nursing Sciences has officially announced the commencement of sales for its National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) Nursing admission forms for the 2025/2026 academic session. Notably, the college operates across four major campuses: Kano, Madobi, Danbatta, and Gwarzo.

Application Window: When and Where to Apply

The registration period opens on 25th May 2026. It will remain active until 25th June 2026. Therefore, candidates are strongly encouraged to apply promptly and avoid last-minute complications.

To begin the process, visit the official admission portal at https://utme.conskano.edu.ng. From there, click the “Apply” button on the web interface. Afterward, follow the step-by-step instructions to input data, upload documents, and make payment. The application fee is a flat rate of Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000) only.

Entry Requirements for the ND Nursing Programme

Before applying, candidates must confirm they meet the eligibility criteria. There are two key benchmarks to satisfy.

First, regarding JAMB scores, applicants to the Kano Campus need a minimum score of 160 and above in the recent UTME. Meanwhile, those applying to Madobi, Danbatta, or Gwarzo campuses require a minimum of 150 and above. Additionally, candidates must have chosen Kano State College of Nursing Sciences as their First Choice Institution in the UTME.

Second, on O’Level qualifications, candidates must possess at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects. Specifically, these must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. For WASSCE or NECO holders, these credits must be obtained in not more than two (2) sittings. However, candidates applying with NABTEB results must obtain all five (5) mandatory credits in one (1) sitting.

The college is well regarded as one of the most reputable healthcare training centers in Northern Nigeria, with a commitment to practical, community-based learning. As a result, competition for places is expected to be keen. Candidates are advised to verify their eligibility early.
