
The management of Lagos State University of Education (LASUED), Oto/Ijanikin, has commenced the sale of Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening forms for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates seeking admission into the university’s various undergraduate programmes.
According to the university, online registration for the admission screening exercise will commence on Sunday, June 1, 2026, and close on Sunday, July 5, 2026.

Eligibility Requirements
UTME Candidates
To be eligible for the screening exercise, candidates must:
- Choose LASUED as their First Choice institution in the 2026 UTME.
- Score a minimum of 185 in the 2026 UTME.
- Possess the relevant O’Level subject requirements as specified in the JAMB Brochure.
- Be at least sixteen (16) years old by October 1, 2026.
- Upload their O’Level results on JAMB CAPS on or before July 17, 2026.
Direct Entry Candidates
Direct Entry applicants must:
- Choose LASUED as their First Choice institution during Direct Entry registration.
- Possess acceptable qualifications such as NCE, ND, Diploma, or equivalent credentials.
- Participate in the online screening exercise.
- Submit copies of their screening report and academic credentials to the LASUED Admissions Office for processing.
O’Level Requirements
Candidates must possess:
- A minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects.
- Credit passes in English Language and Mathematics.
- Results obtained from WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, NBAIS, or GCE.
- O’Level results obtained in not more than two sittings.

How to Apply
Eligible candidates should complete their registration online through the LASUED admission portal by following the steps below:
Step 1: Visit the LASUED admission portal through the university website.
Step 2: Complete the online registration form with the required information.
Step 3: Upload all necessary credentials and supporting documents.
Step 4: Make payment through the approved payment platform provided on the portal.
Step 5: Submit the application and print the screening acknowledgement slip for future reference.

Important Notice
The university has warned candidates against making payments to unauthorized individuals, agents, or unofficial accounts.
