How to Pay NDU School Fees Online (Niger Delta University Portal Guide)

You pay Niger Delta University (NDU) school fees online through the university’s official e-payment portal, ndufees.com. Create an account (or log in), go to your dashboard, click Pay Fees, choose the fee you want (for example “School Fees”), generate your e-teller, and pay with an internet-enabled debit card. Then print your receipt. This is the only official channel — do not pay any agent.

Is ndufees.com still the official NDU fees portal?

Yes. As at the current session, ndufees.com is live and it is still the genuine e-payment portal of Niger Delta University, Wilberforce Island, Bayelsa State. The site itself states: “This is the official e-payment Portal of Niger Delta University.” Nothing has changed about the portal address — if you searched for “ndufees” or “ndufees login portal”, this is the correct site.

One thing has changed since older guides: the portal now pushes you to pay online directly with your debit card rather than printing an e-teller and walking into a specific bank. If you were told to pay at “Diamond Bank”, note that Diamond Bank has since merged into Access Bank, so ignore that old instruction and follow the current steps below.

How to pay NDU school fees online (step by step)

1. Open your browser and go to ndufees.com.
2. If you are new, click Create Account and register with your correct details (surname, other names, matric number or JAMB registration number, email and phone number). If you already have an account, just click Login.
3. Log in with your username and password.
4. On your personal dashboard, click Pay Fees and select the fee you want to pay — for example, “School Fees”.
5. Click to generate your e-teller (this shows the exact amount for your faculty and level).
6. On the generated e-teller, choose pay online with an internet-enabled debit card (Mastercard or Verve).
7. Complete the card payment. Once it is successful, go back to Home and print your receipt.

Keep both a printed copy and a saved PDF of your receipt. You will need it for course registration, clearance and any dispute over payment.

After you pay: register your courses

How much are NDU school fees?

NDU does not publish a single public fees table on the portal — the exact amount depends on your faculty, department and level, and it is shown to you on the generated e-teller after you log in. Fresh students also pay an acceptance/clearance fee separately during admission clearance.

Because figures change from session to session and differ by course, we do not quote a fixed amount here — an out-of-date number could make you pay the wrong sum. To see your exact, current fee, log in to ndufees.com and generate your e-teller, or confirm with the NDU Bursary. Treat any amount you see on WhatsApp, Facebook or a random blog as unconfirmed until the portal shows it to you.

SUG dues, medical and other fees

On the portal’s Pay Fees menu you select which fee you are paying. Beyond the main school fees, you may see items such as SUG dues, medical and other statutory charges as separate options. Pay each one that applies to you through the same portal, and print a receipt for every payment. If a fee you were asked for is not listed on your dashboard, do not pay it to anyone privately — confirm with the Bursary or your faculty office first.

Warning: pay only through the official portal

Every session, NDU students lose money to fee scams. Protect yourself:

• Pay only on ndufees.com or through the card/bank channel it provides. Never send fees to a personal bank account, an “admission agent”, or anyone who contacts you privately.
• NDU’s own portal has previously warned students about fraudsters demanding money (for example, a fake “pay ₦20,000 to register online courses” message). If a payment demand does not appear inside your portal dashboard, treat it as a scam.
• Do not share your portal password or card PIN with anyone, including people claiming to be “computer village” or portal helpers.
• After paying, always print your receipt as proof. No receipt means no verifiable payment.

Portal not loading or payment failed?

• If a card payment fails but your bank debits you, do not pay again immediately — most failed transactions reverse within 24 hours. Wait, check your portal receipt status, then retry.
• Use a stable internet connection and make sure online/internet transactions are enabled on your card.
• For login problems, a wrong matric number, or a payment that does not reflect, contact the NDU Bursary/ICT support through the official university website, ndu.edu.ng.
