NECC Kaduna Opens Admission into Diploma in Audiology Technician Programme for 2026/2027 Session

The National Ear Care Centre (NECC), Kaduna, has commenced the sale of application forms for admission into its Diploma in Audiology Technician programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The programme offers aspiring healthcare professionals an opportunity to build a career in hearing assessment, diagnosis, and rehabilitation. As hearing-related disorders continue to rise globally, the demand for trained audiology personnel remains critical in hospitals, specialist clinics, and community healthcare settings.

Programme Duration

The Diploma in Audiology Technician programme will run for a period of 24 calendar months (two years).

Admission Requirements

Candidates seeking admission must possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in SSCE, WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or an equivalent qualification.

The required credits must include:

• English Language
• Mathematics
• Biology
• Physics
• One other relevant science subject

Applicants may combine results from two examination bodies, provided all admission requirements are met. The required credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings.

Selection Process

Admission into the programme will be based on:

• Academic qualifications.
• Performance in the entrance examination.
• Oral interview.

The entrance examination and oral interview will be conducted at the National Ear Care Centre, Kaduna. The date for the exercise will be announced by the institution at a later time.

Only candidates who successfully pass both stages of the screening process will be considered for admission.

How to Apply

1. Generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) in favour of the National Ear Care Centre, Kaduna.

2. Pay the non-refundable application fee of ₦10,000 at any commercial bank.

3. Present the payment receipt at the School Accounts Office and obtain an official cash receipt.

4. Submit the official receipt at the Coordinator’s Office to collect the application form.

5. Complete the form and return it to the Coordinator’s Office along with photocopies of all relevant credentials.
