• At least five (5) credit passes at O’Level, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings, in subjects relevant to your course.

How to register for UMYU Post-UTME screening

Do everything on the official portal. Follow these steps:

1. Go to the official admission screening portal at collegeportal.umyu.edu.ng/ug/applicant/index/.
2. Click “Register a new Account” and create your profile. Register only once; if you have registered before, simply log in to continue.
3. Pay the screening fee through the payment options on the portal.
4. Log in and complete your application profile with your biodata and a recent passport photograph.
5. Print your Screening Acknowledgement slip and any payment receipts.
6. Attend the CBT aptitude test on campus (UTME candidates) on the date shown on your slip.

Documents you will need

• Your JAMB UTME result slip (or Direct Entry registration slip for DE candidates).
• Your O’Level result(s) — WAEC, NECO or NABTEB (statement of result printout is accepted).

The JAMB national minimum for universities is 150. UMYU’s own departmental cut-off marks can be higher than 150, especially for competitive courses such as Medicine, Nursing, Law and some sciences. UMYU does not publish a single flat cut-off for every course.

When does the UMYU Post-UTME form come out?

Admission season is peak season for fraudsters. Protect yourself:
