A disturbing incident has surfaced online showing a physical altercation between a lecturer and a female student of Niger Delta University (NDU), Wilberforce Island, Bayelsa State. The confrontation, which reportedly took place inside a lecture hall during an ongoing examination, has sparked widespread outrage on social media.
Incident escalate, Reactions and Police Response
According to multiple eyewitness accounts, the altercation began when the lecturer — whose identity has not yet been disclosed — accused the student of engaging in examination malpractice. He then ordered the student to leave the hall. The student allegedly refused to comply and demanded the immediate return of her confiscated mobile phone before stepping out.
Witnesses claim the situation escalated when the student smashed the lecturer’s phone in retaliation for the seizure of hers.
