Candidates who originally chose a different institution are not automatically excluded. However, they must first effect a change of institution through the JAMB portal before proceeding with the MOUAU screening registration. When Did Registration Open?
Online registration for the 2026/2027 admission screening commenced on 6th June 2026. Candidates are required to complete their registration through the official MOUAU website and must provide accurate contact details, as this information will be used for communication throughout the admissions process.
How Much Does It Cost?
The screening fee is a flat ₦2,000 (Two Thousand Naira). Payment is processed exclusively through the Remita platform. During registration, the system automatically generates a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number. Candidates may pay using a debit card, credit card, or by presenting the generated RRR at any commercial bank nationwide.
Applicants should note that applicable transaction charges may apply, depending on the payment channel used.
Step-by-Step Application Process
The University has outlined a clear registration procedure. Candidates should follow these steps carefully:

2. Click on the 2026/2027 Admission Screening banner.
3. Select any of the buttons displayed beneath the banner.
4. Enter your JAMB Registration Number.
5. Provide a valid email address (yours or your guardian’s).
6. Enter a valid phone number belonging to the candidate or guardian.
7. Generate your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR).
8. Pay the ₦2,000 screening fee through any available Remita channel.
9. Validate your payment on the MOUAU Remita Payment Validation page.

The Payment Validation Step Nobody Should Skip
After making payment, candidates must validate their transaction through the University’s dedicated payment validation portal before proceeding. This step is non-negotiable; failure to complete it will stall the registration process entirely.

What to Do With Your O’Level Results
MOUAU has disabled the O’Level result upload feature on its own portal. Candidates cannot upload their WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB results directly on the University’s website. Instead, all O’Level results must be uploaded through an accredited JAMB CBT Centre. The University will subsequently retrieve the records from JAMB’s Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) and transfer them to its admission portal.
To confirm that uploaded results have been correctly captured, candidates should navigate to the fourth stage of the Post UTME registration page, locate the “Fetch Result(s)” section, and click “VIEW VERIFIED RESULT” to review their O’Level records before final submission.
Importantly, MOUAU has stated that O’Level grades and the number of examination sittings will be factored into the screening assessment. Candidates are therefore urged to ensure that their correct results are reflected on JAMB CAPS before completing their registration.
Awaiting Results? Do Not Register Yet
Candidates who have not yet received their 2026 WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB results are advised to wait until their results are released before initiating the registration process. Registering without confirmed results could complicate the application.
Final Checklist Before You Submit
MOUAU has made it clear that it will not accept responsibility for errors resulting from inaccurate information supplied by applicants. Before clicking the final submission button, every candidate should confirm the following:
