MOAUM Post-UTME Form 2026/2027 Out; See Cut-Off Marks, Eligibility and How to Apply

The Rev. Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu University, Makurdi (MOAUM), formerly known as Benue State University (BSU), has commenced registration for its 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise.

Eligible candidates who scored at least 150 in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and selected MOAUM as their first-choice institution can now apply online for admission into the university.

The registration exercise began on July 13, 2026, and will run until August 12, 2026. The screening fee is ₦2,000.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

To participate in the screening exercise, candidates must:

1. Score at least 150 in the 2026 UTME.
2. Choose MOAUM as their first-choice institution or successfully change to the university through JAMB.
3. Possess at least five relevant O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics.
4. Obtain the required credits in not more than two sittings.
5. Meet the minimum UTME score approved for their chosen programme.

The university’s most competitive programmes require a minimum score of 240:

Important Notice for Some Applicants

MOAUM has advised candidates who selected certain programmes to consider changing to alternative courses.

Mass Communication Applicants

Candidates who applied for B.Sc. Mass Communication are advised to switch to other programmes within the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies.

Nursing Applicants

Those who applied for BN. Nursing are encouraged to change to other science-based programmes, particularly within the Faculty of Science and the College of Health Sciences.

Vocational and Technical Education Applicants

Candidates seeking admission into Vocational and Technical Education should consider programmes in the Faculty of Technology and Industrial Studies, especially Industrial Technology.

How to Apply for MOAUM Post-UTME 2026

Step 1: Visit the university admission portal. https://portal.bsum.edu.ng/login.jsp

Step 2: Click on Admission and select Post UTME/DE Verification.

Step 3: Enter your JAMB Registration Number and click Next to verify your details.

Step 4: Proceed to the e-payment platform and pay the approved screening fee of ₦2,000.

Step 5: Return to the portal and click Continue Registration under the Admission menu.

Step 6: Complete the biodata form and submit your application.

Step 7: Print the completed application slip and keep it for future reference.

Important Instructions

All UTME and Direct Entry candidates must upload their O’Level and A’Level results, where applicable, on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).

Failure to upload the required results on JAMB CAPS may prevent a candidate from being considered for admission, regardless of their UTME score or screening status.

Applicants are also advised to regularly monitor the university portal for updates, admission notices and further instructions.
