UNIPORT Releases Official 2025/2026 Post-UTME Screening Schedule

The University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) has officially released the timetable for its 2025/2026 Post-UTME Computer-Based Test (CBT) screening exercise. In a formal notice published on its official website, Mrs. Gloria O. Chindah, PhD, Registrar, signed off the announcement, lending it full authority and authenticity.

SCHEDULE FOR THE 2025 POST-UTME (CBT) SCREENING EXERCISE

  • Dates: Monday, 18 August – Saturday, 23 August 2025

  • Time: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM daily

Registration Procedure (For Confirmation)

Candidates who duly registered should confirm they followed these steps:

  1. Portal Access: Logged into the UNIPORT UTME Data Capture Portal using UTME Registration Number.

  2. Payment: Generated a Remita code and paid the non-refundable fee of ₦2,000 either online or through designated banks (Access Bank, Ecobank, Fidelity, First Bank, FCMB, UBA, UNIPORT-Choba Microfinance Bank, or Zenith Bank).

  3. Completion: Returned to the portal using the UTME number and Access Code to complete the biodata form.

  4. Photo Card: Printed the Photo Card, which displayed their assigned screening date, time, and venue.

Candidates should check that this was the exact process they completed. Anyone who skipped a step may risk disqualification.

MATERIALS REQUIRED FOR POST-UTME SCREENING

  1. A clear copy of the Photo Card printed online.
  2. A pen.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  1. Any inconsistency in name or photo on registration slips will lead to disqualification.
  2. Candidates must be 16 years or above by September 2025 to be eligible.
  3. Electronic gadgets (Mobile Phones, iPads, iPods, Walkman, etc.) are not allowed into the screening venue.
  4. The online registration portal will close at midnight on Thursday, 14th August, 2025.
  5. Registration is online only. Candidates are not required to visit the campus physically.
  6. Candidates who selected the University of Port Harcourt as Second Choice must first change it to First Choice on the JAMB portal before registering.
  7. Ensure that your O’Level results are uploaded to JAMB CAPS, as candidates without uploaded results will not be considered for admission.
  8. Use valid personal GSM numbers and email addresses for the registration.
  9. Report to the designated screening venue at the time shown on your Photo Card or risk disqualification.
  10. Parents, guardians, and uninvited security agents will not be allowed into the campus during the screening days.
